Accord-Bridge Foundation extended its livelihood empowerment initiative to the widows of Chika, a suburb in Abuja. Recognising the unique challenges faced by these women, the programme provided hands-on training in the production of liquid soap, bleach, and house cleaning disinfectants at the community level.
Participants were also equipped with essential business skills, offered access to financial services, and connected with peer support networks. As a result, some of the trained women have successfully launched small businesses, creating pathways to financial independence and stability within their community.
